Properties and Uses
JS-PPA is light yellow to colorless transparent liquid, its PH is 6-8; soluble in alcohol, ether, ester, benzene and hydrocarbons, etc.; nontoxic to human and livestock, green and environmental-friendly.
It is a high-grade industrial solvent with double functional group. Its performances are better than glycol ether, propylene glycol ether and all-purpose solvents. It can be used as solvent for various macromolecular materials such as resin, rubber, cellulose, natural macromolecule(all kinds of grease, wax and colophony, etc.) and synthetic macromolecule. It can greatly improve the product's performance when used in coating, inks and adhesives.
Because of its high boiling point and appropriate evaporation rate, it makes paint dry slowly, more applicable for color paint and latex paint; as auxiliary solvent of baking paint in car and household electrical appliance industry to greatly improve the performance of baking paint.
Used as raw material to prepare a series of chemical products such as initiating agent of light polymerization, insecticides, etc.
Uses as film forming agent, liquid detergent and antimildew agent, etc.
