Properties:
Appearance: red brown oily viscous substance

Solubility: at the room temperature, it is soluble in propanone, benzene, n-butanol, chloroform, dimethyl formamide, dioxane, glycol, methyl(ethyl or butyl) celluloid and acetic acid and water. At 50°C, it is soluble in carbon tetrachloride, dichloroethane, styrene, etc.

Stability: it is stable to 5% acid and alkali, and will decompose if the temperature raise to 180°C and higher.

Compatibility: can be used together with cationic and nonionic surfactants, but anionic surfactant.

Uses:
1. Antistatic agent SN is used to eliminate static electricity in the spinning of all kinds of synthetic fibres such as polyester, polyvinyl alcohol, polyoxyethylene and so on, with excellent effect.
2. used as antistatic agent for pure silk.
3. used as alkali decrement promoter for terylene silk-like fabrics.
4. used as antistatic agent for polyester, polyvinyl alcohol, polyoxyethylene film and plastic products, with excellent effect.
5. used as asphaltum emulsifier.
6. used as antistatic agent for spinning leather roller of butyronitrile rubber products.
7. used as dyeing levelling auxiliary when using cation dye to dye polyacrylonitrile fibres.
